First UK Retreat Weekend…
At the end of April, I hosted my first retreat weekend in Battle, East Sussex and honestly, it’s hard to put into words just how special it felt.
What started as an idea slowly became a reality over the past few months, and seeing it all come together surrounded by such a lovely group of people was something I’ll never forget. A weekend created to move, slow down, switch off from busy routines and reconnect, not only with ourselves, but with each other too.
The weekend was filled with Pilates, yoga, walks, great food, slower mornings, plenty of laughter and moments of calm amongst nature. Nothing overly complicated or overly scheduled, just space to breathe, move and reset.
One of my favourite things about teaching is creating environments where people feel comfortable to simply show up as they are. Watching everyone relax into the weekend, connect and take time for themselves reminded me why I love doing this so much.
Running a retreat for the first time definitely came with nerves beforehand, but by the end of the weekend I felt incredibly grateful, proud and inspired for what’s to come next.
Thank you to everyone who joined me and helped make the weekend what it was. I already know it won’t be the last one.
